UCSC has an amazing network of paths and trails that often provide the most direct route from place to place on campus. Walking is often quicker than waiting for shuttles, plus it’s the single most sustainable means of getting around. If community members and visitors bring a good pair of walking shoes with them, they’ll be able to keep themselves (and the planet) healthy – and they’ll also see some of the unique features that make UCSC a special place, many of which can’t be seen from the roadways. UCSC Campus Walking Maps are available on TAPS Campus buses and in all college offices. Visit the Printable Maps page if you would like to view the map – or any of the other campus maps available online.
